Company Background

Switchgear Commissioning & Maintenance Engineers Pty Ltd (SCME) was incorporated in February
1990. The Company is fully Australian owned and committed to providing quality and value added
services to the electrical energy sector. The Company’s initial activities were mainly in switchgear
testing, maintenance and power system protection engineering.

Since 1990, the Company has diversified into design and build activities including high voltage
reticulation systems, low voltage switchboards, D C systems , UPS systems, protection and monitoring
of energy networks and electrical contracting. The Company’s staff include fully qualified engineers
and technicians. The Company has a complement of fully qualified electricians to undertake
contracting and installation work.
